Red Lentil Yam Soup

2 tbsp. Butter/ghee
1 large Red onion , chopped
1 Leek , chopped
10 cups of Water
1 medium Fennel bulb , chopped
2 cups Red lentils
1 Yam peeled and diced
6 tbsp. NutraKik® Original
1 tsp. Salt


Melt butter/ghee in a large pot then add red onion, leak, fennel, and sauté until they are translucent. Add water and bring to a boil. Add yams and lentils and boil for 5-6 minutes. Cover and cook for 40-45 minutes on low. Add NutraKik® Original, salt and stir evenly. Serve and enjoy!
